Absolutely stunning and incredibly charming and incredibly rare! Silver plate on pewter. The makers mark was used between 1910-1925 and indicate that the piece was for sale only in the domestic German market. The I/O mark indicates a standard thickness of silver plating and the CX (which should read OX) indicates an oxidised finish, meaning that the piece was never intended to be highly polished. No significant damage but obvious signs of age and use. Can be free standing or wall mounted. Approximately 13cm diameter and 1.5cm deep.
