Antique Apothecary scales with glass dishes and flat weights. It consists of a delicate beam scale with glass pans and brass weights all housed in a wooden case for portability. These scales were used by apothecaries or doctors to accurately measure medicinal ingredients. In used condition they show age related marks commensurate with there age. The box is solid and in good condition and closes with a clasp to the front, has some age related marks and wear.
