DESCRIPTION: A beautifully carved antique solid 9ct gold shell cameo brooch, depicting the Greek goddess Psyche with her butterfly wings. The cameo itself has great detail, with intricate lines and a high relief. The frame of the brooch is solid 9ct 375 gold and is stamped "9ct". The items weighs approx. 7.47g and the size dimensions are in the later photos. The cameo itself has some age lines running through it, these aren't impact cracks, theses are fractures in the rear of the shell due to age (see pictures/video).
