This is a beautifully worn antique milking or hearth stool, possibly a cutlers stool. The seat is well worn with nicks and dents, full of character. It has three legs, which are very stable. These are pegged from the side (square wooden pegs). No nails used to make this primitive piece. Waxed and ready to go.
