you'll see in the video relative to my hand size how much is here. I weighed it and it's right around two and a half pounds.. it came from the chair to which the pieces I've photographed are from as well.. just to show that it is an 1800s piece/source of the horse hair.... I cannot attest as to whether or not Abraham Lincoln, Robert e lee, Thomas Jefferson or anyone else of that era ever set upon this hair! ???? but I can attest that my mother loved this chair very much and dad had it saved in the Attic for decades with intention to repair the chair for her.... Alas.. this project was never addressed.
