Antique late 19th century Egyptian revival hand sewn appliqué tapestry depicting the Sphinx, pyramids, and camels. Fair to good condition. Losses to cotton appliqué, notably on pyramids and Sphinx’s rump. A few scattered sustains. Please review photographs. Tapestry is made of corduroy and cotton appliqué on natural linen and measures 42 inches long and 18 inches tall.
