A charming 19th Century French Copper cooking vessel. Lined with tin on the inside, with distinctive "A.D 31" and the "GS" maker's mark clearly inscribed both on the side and lid. A lovely piece of culinary history, and in great condition, it has been gently cleaned, but some of its original Patina. I included 2 pictures of it before cleaning (last two) to attest to its age & authenticity. 20cm in height / 17cm in width / 25cm including the handles. In very good condition considering the age, a very solid piece. 3.12 kg.
