A fine late 19th Century to early 20th century Period Side Table. Made in the Japanned style and decorated in black lacquer with fine detailed chinoiserie raised gesso figures. in almost fully restored condition. A small piece of the side edge has been removed historically and his photographed for reference. The hand painted artwork on the surface is mesmerising. In absolutely incredible detail and style this is one of the best side tables in the Japanned style I’ve ever come across. A one off piece.
