This plate is in stable, untouched antique condition. It features a wonderful, authentic "black metal" dark gray oxide patina built up over centuries. There are surface scratches, honest wear from historical use, and minor pitting consistent with age. It has not been aggressively polished or chemically cleaned, preserving its historic value.
