A Spanish or Italian armorial embroidery with metallic thread having a baroque crest featuring a dragon surmounted by a royal crown. This one looks early, likely late 17th or at-least 18th century. These patches were made and applied to banners and tapestries during the Baroque period. It is in fair to good condition overall with typical wear from age and handling, some thread losses, loose threads, areas of heavier wear, etc. Please see all photos for condition and measurements.
