Publication date: 1761. This a first edition and a rare copy of a reprint by J. U. Cotta, the Younger, at Tübingen, which caused a scandal in the German publishing world. The text is identical to the more common editions from Leipzig and Frankfurt (minus the author’s prologue in which he accuses Cotta of being a thief).
