For 125 years now, people have been holding prayers and services in the chapel "Zum Kripplein Christi" in the Martinshof in Rothenburg (in Upper Lusatia). "Always on Fridays" 12.00 o'clock the bells call for a "diaconal weekly closing", to which siblings of the Martinshof Brothers and Sisters and employees of the St. Martin Diaconia invite. Due to the corona-related restrictions, these joint devotions had to be canceled at times. Alternatively, since that time the weekly devotional texts have been sent to the readership by e-mail or letterhead. So something new and good grew out of the harmful aspects of a pademia, which has endured to this day. With selected texts and pictures, very individual and readable short devotions for 52 calendar weeks of a year are summarized in this book.
