An early to mid-19th century turned bone handled corkscrew with the Samuel Hensh

£42.30

There is a partial hairline crack, but it stable, making it a nice direct pull corkscrew. The cast shank and button is made of brass, but the corkscrew is made of tempered steel. The Henshall button was the invention of The Reverend Samuel Henshall, of Oxford, in 1795.
