This exquisite antique tea glass holder comes from the renowned Alexander Katsch factory in St. Petersburg, Russia, made about the turn of the century (approx. 1865–1900). The set consists of the original, hand-blown glass insert with characteristic air bubbles and a holder made of high-quality silver-plated brass. The artfully chased wall shows detailed hunting motifs with heads of wolves, boars, hunting dogs and fuchs in floral borders. Several backstamps, including the maker's mark “AK”.
