W 106.5 cm x H 94 cm x D 45 cm A beautiful waxed 19th Century chest of 4 drawers with working key and locks. Lovely turned wood knobs on drawers. One escutcheon missing on middle drawer (see picture). The top left turned detail has some old woodworm holes and the top surface of the chest has a dark mark and a knot has been filled in (see photos). The right hand side has an old split running down it but is sealed and filled and isn’t structurally sound. This is a handsome piece of furniture with a few age related marks here and there but a lovely pale colour and the drawers all run well with a few repairs to the drawer runners. On circular cedar feet.
