A Silver Plate Mappin and Webb 'Claridges' Match Housing

An interesting c1940's Silver plated Matchbox holder by Mappin and Webb. It is stamped with model number C11/54 with 'Claridges' stamped on it so it was either commissioned by Claridges or supplied to them by Mappin and Webb.
