This was my wife's grandmothers and was handed down in the family to her, I believe in the 19th century. So probably her great- great - grandparents. She was a romany traveller who would have hung this over a wood fire during her travels - 1900 onwards until 1960s. Its then been handed down to me. A BEAUTIFUL LARGE ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ROUND COPPER KETTLE, CIRCA 1800. Evidence of the "dovetail" or cramped seams at the rear and bottom. Acorn style knob, riveted handle. W embossed on the base.
