A large predominantly oak carved sideboard / dresser from Normandy, circa 1600s. Its rail is incised with initials and dated '1627', a common feature in Tudor and Stuart furniture. Consisting of a contemporary oak and cherry wood carcass around a 400 year old hand carved front panel.
