This is an antique Zakani-design Baluchi rug, hand-knotted in Herat, Afghanistan during the 1930s. Woven with 100% wool, it features a flat, no-pile surface and a highly detailed tribal aesthetic. The condition is excellent considering its age, with an authentic distressed look and well-preserved foundation.
