This pediment is from France and dates to the early 1900's. It is carved from solid oak and finished to a warm dark color. It is in very good antique condition-straight and solid with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age. Note that there is a slightly larger chip on the front of the crest (see photos). Dimensions: 24.75" long, 8.5" high and 2.5" deep.
