Fabulous 19thC Bronze Framed Miniature Royal Navy Sailors Woolie on Canvas (Woolwork) This is in good and well presented condition with some discolouration commensurate with its age. The Woolie is pressed between to bronze plates, glazed to the front and an easel to the back. I have taken this apart to assess the age and can confirm the canvas & stitching is indicative of mid to late 19thC sailors work. It measures 4.5” x 4.5” depicts a Royal Navy man of war.
