19th Century French Silver Cloak Buckle With Lion / Griffon Paw Decoration. Quite possibly for a military or ministerial officer. Possibly from Villedieu. 7cm in length - light weight. Very nice condition but hallmarks on clasp are totally rubbed. Scarce item.
