A rare 19th century embroidered apron worn by a member of The Ancient Order of the Free Gardeners. Beautifully stitched in vivid wool threads depicting King Solomon surrounded by biblical and horticultural symbols. Excellent condition with no fading. Lining with stains, border with minor fraying.
