18th century silver fancyback teaspoon - ship/galleon

£130.70

This is a rare 18th century silver fancyback or picture-back teaspoon. The teaspoon is in good antique condition. It has a partial maker's mark, possibly that of Thomas Wallis II, a London silversmith, apprenticed to Thomas Wallis I. Free in 1779, his first mark as a plateworker was entered in 1778.
