This item is a Georgian pewter measure, specifically a tavern mug with a spout, dating from approximately the 18th or early 19th century. There are two stamps on the mug, one indicating that this is a pint jug. There are also initials on the jug from the original owner. The jug is 14.5cm tall. The jug has been well used over the years and therefore has a number of marks, cracks and imperfections, consistent with its vintage.
