A substantial late Victorian Georgian revival silver plated wine or champagne cooler, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (c. 1880–1910). The cooler features a ribbed (reeded) belly, a heavy applied pearled band to the top collar, and gadroon decoration around the insert’s rim, with large cast shell plaques securing the side handles — all classic motifs of Georgian design revived during the Victorian period.
