A wonderful antique Anglo-Indian DAMCHIYA or dowry chest/settle bench constructed from oak, teak and iron with extensively decorated panels all around. Hand forged iron strapping with foliate decor and turned finials on corners. Hand carved oak and iron long link chain from 19th century with fantastic hinges on hatch door. This is a great all original item which is extremely heavy at an estimated 100KG and will be inserted in any room of your choice included in the price.
