1638 FRENCH RENAISSANCE ERA WATERMARKED PAPER MANUSCRIPT signed Journal. There are many sections of this Journal having dates of 1637 and 1638, and I can not read the French, so I am making assumption that this may be a debt journal of money owed to this Madame, for what goods or services I have no idea. But, I may be completely wrong. Is it money to be paid on that date which is what I think, don't really know. This is a one piece of paper that has a fold, of which 3 pages are handwritten, and 1 corner has a tear. If you can read French, you have a great advantage on knowing what it says. Folded, it measures 7" x 10.5".
